Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures as Deaf Khmerican diaspora repatriating to homeland: Cambodia + slow travel & worldschooling with three KODAs.

Hope you have a nice stay!

From Your Heart to Mine

objects shattering on the floor

doors slamming

people screaming at the concert when their favorite singer came on stage

singer hitting the high notes

gun firings

fireworks exploding

THOSE I LISTED WERE FEW SOUNDS THAT I COULD HEAR

hearing is not a sensory i possess though

worry not, my other senses are heightened

vibrations waving through my body

objects shattering on the floor : vibration tickles through my feet

doors slamming : strong and sharp vibration shoot through my chest

people screaming when their favorite singer came on stage : all kinds of vibrations ping all over my body and ears

singer hitting the high note : arousing vibration traveling from my toes to head as if i'm being lifted off the ground

gun firing : surprising vibration that steals my breath for a moment

firework exploding : my heart feels like it's exploding

while the sounds are art for others, vibrations are it for me

the favorite vibration of all the time for me is when i fall in love....

remember when i lay down on my back on the couch, you would rest your head on my chest. you listen to my heart beat and tell me how you are fascinated with how my heart beat to you + tap on my arm following the rhythm

i kiss your forehead and hold you tighter : sweetest......frightening, but exciting...oh the tenderness... vibration flowing back and forth from your heart to mine

i am in love. falling deeper...wildly...madly...tenderly in love. i am in love with you.
