For a long time, I have hated the name that was given to me at the birth because it didn't fit the culture, where I was born: in America. I longed to be the ideal American, erasing everything that was part of my identity all because of the fear: to be labeled FOB (fresh off boat). As I have embarked on this journey toward self actualization, I am learning to love myself and the identities that I have been born with. I am Leang Hu Ngov.
Writing is a longtime lover of mine. In the past, I have had a several blogs where I'd write endlessly about everything. My poetry. My passions. My perspectives. My dreams. However, I've embarked on this new journey where I'm achieving a self actualization, and I wanted to document this, to share with my readers and for myself to reflect. Everything I write is of a raw experience and a perspective that I have gained from each experience.
All photos on this site were taken either by myself as a photography is a passion and hobby of mine or belongs to me.
